What is linear lighting?

Linear light or linear lighting lamp, unlike other downlights with a point light source, distributes light in a narrower and longer area. The length and width of these lights are very diverse. They can be suspended from the ceiling as a pendant linear light, or installed on the wall or ceiling as a surface-mounted or trim less recessed linear light.

Achievements of linear light products

Before the expansion of these lights, it was difficult to implement the lighting of some places (such as long corridors in retail stores and warehouses or the lighting of large office rooms).

In the past, these long spaces were lit by large incandescent or fluorescent lamps. These types of lighting devices did not have a useful lumen per watt output and also produced a shadow of wasted light to provide the required light for each space.
